A typed letter dated February 1961, on his personal headed notepaper, by Sir Alec Guinness, signed by him at the foot with a fountain pen. Guinness was the English actor who won the Academy Award for Best Actor for his role as Colonel Nicholson in The Bridge on the River Kwai (1957). His most prominent role in his later career was as Obi-Wan Kenobi in the original Star Wars trilogy.
