• Virginia Mayo

A typed letter dated January 1948, in which Virginia Mayo grants permission for her name and image to be used for advertising candy bars! Signed at the close with a fountain pen, this would make a great display piece matted with a portrait. After starting out in vaudeville, Mayo progressed to films and during the 1940s established herself in Hollywood in such films as The Best Years of Our Lives (1946) and White Heat (1949).
