A 6 x 3¾ page from an autograph album signed in person by Paula Yates (1959 - 2000), the British television presenter and writer, best known for her work on two iconic television programmes, The Tube, which she co-presented with Jools Holland, and Channel 4's The Big Breakfast, where she became notorious for her "on the bed" interviews. In 1979, Yates began her career as a music journalist with a column called "Natural Blonde" in the Record Mirror, shortly after posing naked for a photo shoot in Penthouse magazine. She was married to Bob Geldhof, giving him three daughters before leaving him for the INXS singer Michael Hutchence, with whom she also had a daughter. In 1982, she released a version of the Nancy Sinatra hit song, "These Boots Are Made for Walkin'". Yates was found dead at her home in London, on her daughter Pixie's 10th birthday, at the age of 41, killed by a heroin overdose.
