A page from an autograph album signed in person by Tommy Cooper (1921-1984), everyone's favourite comedy conjuror known for his fez, for making an art of getting magic tricks wrong (although he was actually an accomplished magician) and for his catchphrase, " ....just like that!!". On 15 April 1984, Cooper collapsed, and soon after died, from a heart attack in front of millions of television viewers, midway through his act on the London Weekend Television variety show Live From Her Majesty's, transmitted live from Her Majesty's Theatre. Because his stage act required that things go wrong for comic purposes, there was some initial uncertainty as to whether this collapse was real or not.
