A page from an autograph album signed in October 1995 by David Lodge (1921 - 2003), the English actor who made his screen debut in The Cockleshell Heroes (1955) and went on to feature in many British films, including five of the Carry On series. He was a close friend of Peter Sellers, appearing in several of his movies, and turned up in dozens of comedy pictures in the 50s and 60s with the likes of Tony Hancock, Norman Wisdom and Reg Varney. His notable film credits include Ice Cold in Alex (1958), I Only Arsked! (1958), Two-Way Stretch (1960), The Bulldog Breed (1960), Go to Blazes (1962), On the Beat (1962), Crooks and Coronets (1969) and The Return of the Pink Panther (1975).
