A 6x4 page from an autograph album signed in person by Hal Galili (1926 - 1983), the American actor, born in New York, who did his war service in the Merchant Navy before signing up for acting school. He came to London in 1958 with West Side Story, playing Officer Krupke, and became a familiar face in British television and films of the 1970s and early 80s. He was the go-to guy when producers needed an American heavy for shows like The Saint, Minder, The Professionals, It Ain't Half Hot Mum, Department S, The Avengers and Special Branch. His film credits include Dr. Strangelove (1964), Goldfinger (1964) as Mr. Strap, Lee Oswald Assassin (1966 TV movie) as J. D. Tippit, Carry on Cowboy (1966), Casino Royale (1967), The Dirty Dozen (1967), Fear Is The Key (1972),The Pink Panther Strikes Again (1976) as Danny Salvo, Valentino (1977), Brass Target (1978), Superman II (1980) and Ragtime (1981). He died in London at age 56.
