A white 5x3 card boldly signed with a black felt-tip pen by Richard Todd, the British actor forever remembered for his role as Wing Commander Guy Gibson VC, in the 1955 movie The Dambusters. Todd was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Actor in 1949 as well as being voted favourite British male film star in Britain's National Film Awards. Alfred Hitchcock used him in Stage Fright (1950), then he made a film in Hollywood for King Vidor, Lightning Strikes Twice (1951).  He also appeared in three films for Disney, The Story of Robin Hood and His Merrie Men (1952), The Sword and the Rose (1953) and Rob Roy, the Highland Rogue (1953).
